Since 2014, Wild Kratts LIVE! has performed over 225 shows for hundreds of thousands of fans in over 135 cities across North America. It was created for the stage by the imaginative minds of Martin and Chris Kratt.

The PBS KIDS TV show, Wild Kratts, was created and developed by brothers and zoologists Martin and Chris Kratt and is currently in its sixth season. The series follows the animated versions of the Kratt brothers and their friends on hilarious expeditions with wild animals from around the world, complete with animal-inspired gadgets and awesome Creature Power Suits that enable the adventurers to get close to the creatures. The real-life Chris and Martin introduce each Wild Kratts episode with a live-action segment that imagines what it would be like to experience a never-before-seen wildlife occurrence, and asks, “What if…?” to set the story in motion.

Now in its sixth season, Wild Kratts is one of the top three rated shows on PBS KIDS and the #1 show site and streaming site on pbskids.org.

The Ozark Mountain Daredevils When It Shines: The Final Tour

March 12, 2025 By news@kauffmancenter.org

The Ozark Mountain Daredevils have been aptly described as “a ragtag collection of hippies, bohemians and musicians of no fixed ambition.” They have always been indefinable in terms of music genres, producing sounds of country-rock and electric bluegrass all on the same record; writing lyrics both whimsical and poetic and singing harmonies that would send shivers up your spine.

The Daredevils’ formal beginning as a band was in Springfield, Missouri in 1971 and included musicians Larry Lee, Steve Cash, Michael Supe Granda, John Dillon, Buddy Brayfield and Randle Chowning. In the beginning they called themselves the Family Tree, then Burlap Socks, and then the Emergency Band. But finally, in a nod to Commander Cody who was one of their musical heroes, they settled on the catchy moniker of Cosmic Corncob & His Amazing Ozark Mountain Daredevils — The Ozark Mountain Daredevils, for short.

Patti LuPone A Life in Notes, A musical touchstone of a life

March 12, 2025 By news@kauffmancenter.org

Music has the power to crystallize a moment in time and evoke eras. In her new concert, Patti LuPone: A Life in Notes, the three-time Tony Award winner performs an array of songs which do just that — songs that are touchstones and reflections on her life growing up in America — from a young girl during the burgeoning rock and roll scene of the fifties, to coming of age in the politically and socially turbulent sixties, to eventually achieving success with both career and family.

Fast forward to today, Gerlinde has climbed all 14 of the seminal 8,000+ meter peaks without supplemental oxygen and without the help of high-altitude porters, the first woman to do so. She completed the quest on her 7th attempt up what many consider to be the most daunting climb in the world, the world’s second highest peak, K2, known worldwide as the “Savage Mountain,” in the remote Karakoram Range of Pakistan and China.
