The Crossroads Neighborhood Activation Committee, in partnership with the Crossroads Community Association (CCA), is proud to announce the Crossroads Arts District Night Market. This neighborhood-wide evening festival is designed to welcome regional and international visitors during the 2026 global fútbol event while showcasing our district’s renowned creative culture to the world.
Building on the Crossroads’ long tradition of First Fridays and arts-driven street life, the Night Market will transform our galleries, locally owned businesses, and outdoor gathering spaces into a vibrant, illuminated destination for fans and residents alike.
A Once-in-a-Generation Community Activation
The Crossroads Arts District Night Market is uniquely positioned just north of the National World War I Museum and Memorial (home to the official Fan Festival), offering an accessible, walkable, and authentic Kansas City experience for the thousands of international visitors traveling to our city.
By highlighting the city’s creative economy, we are generating meaningful opportunities for local artists, entrepreneurs, and small businesses on a global stage.
Event Dates & Times
The Crossroads Arts District Night Market will activate weekends during the tournament, beginning June 12, 2026, running through July 12, 2026.
Night Market hours will be 5:00 pm – 11:00 pm Fridays and 12:00 pm (noon) – 11:00 pm Saturdays and Sundays.

In a major collaboration with ArtGardenKC, the Crossroads Arts District Night Market will host more than 300 artists alongside our neighborhood restaurants, retailers, and arts organizations. Visitors can expect:
- Art Markets: A massive curated selection of local makers and fine artists.
- Culinary Pop-Ups: Taste the best of the Crossroads with local food and drink.
- Live Music & Culture: Street performers and stages featuring Kansas City’s diverse musical talent.
- Gallery Openings: Extended hours at the district’s premier art galleries.
Supporting Our Small Businesses
This initiative is more than a festival — it is a commitment to our local economy. By “Playing Local,” visitors and residents support the creative entrepreneurs who make the Crossroads the heart of Kansas City. Businesses are encouraged to prepare by adjusting staffing and hours, updating their Google profiles, and refreshing physical signage for better wayfinding.
This is our moment to show the world the literal BEST of Kansas City — our art, our food, and our community spirit.
