Join us November 9th at Boulevard Brewing Co. in the Tours & Rec Center Tasting Room for a relaxed, family-friendly day filled with comics, collectibles, and awesome community. Entry is free, and the event runs from 10:30 AM to 4:30 PM.

Godzilla stomps his way through Kansas City Wednesday 10/29 and we all get to be a part of the destruction! This is the release day for the new comic book “Godzilla VS. America: Kansas City”!

Join us at Crossroads Comics and Art to celebrate this fun occasion. This is an amazing opportunity to meet with 3 of the creators who made the book: Baldemar Rivas, Buster Moody and Kyle Strahm. They will be signing copies of the comic right in the store.

It’s Travel & Aviation Day at Science City at partnership with Southwest Airlines! We’ll be featuring fun travel and aviation-themed activities and a very special opportunity for junior aviation fans! PLUS Southwest Rapid Rewards Credit Cardmembers get a FREE Science City admission when they show their credit card at our Ticket Office.*

Happening on Sunday, November 9 from 12 – 5 pm. All included with your regular Science City admission, free for Members.

In addition to the special themed activities, members of the Southwest team will be joining us and will be available to chat about their roles in the industry and share fascinating insights into aviation. They’ll also have Southwest Airlines giveaway! Young aviation fans will also have the unique opportunity to experience the thrill of guiding an aircraft at the Southwest Airlines Marshaling Station. Equipped with safety vests, knee pads, gloves, and light wands, they will learn marshaling signals and direct a simulated plane to the gate. They’ll even be able to use a VR headset to practice marshaling in planes in a realistic environment!

Admission also includes full access to Science City’s three massive floors of themed spaces packed with more than 300 indoor and outdoor interactive exhibits and high-energy play spaces.

Science City hours this Sunday are 12 – 5pm.

Each monthly meeting will recap any public safety situations or concerns which may have occurred since the last meeting and assess how best to prepare for the coming weeks.
