Missouri Loves Company Live at Border Brewing Company
Strawberry Blonde Release at Border Brewing Company
East Crossroads brewery Border Brewing Company is proud to announce they will begin distribution with their first beer being served outside of the taproom at neighborhood restaurant, bar, and live music venue, The Brick.
On Wednesday, May 4th from 4pm-7pm, The Brick will host a happy hour to celebrate this momentous occasion for Border Brewing Company. Guests who purchase Border Brewing Company’s Strawberry Blonde ale will receive a raffle ticket per pint for the chance to win merchandise prizes from both Border Brewing Company and The Brick.
Over the last 7 years, Border Brewing Company and The Brick have cultivated a close working and community friendship. The staff of Border Brewing Company can frequently be found having lunch at The Brick, and the two East Crossroads businesses collaborated to release pale ale Red Zinger in February of 2020. As staunch supporters of Border Brewing Company, The Brick was an obvious choice for the first location for distribution.
Considered a Kansas City mainstay, Border Brewing Company was the first brewery taproom to open in the Crossroads. Border Brewing Company originally opened in February of 2015 just one block west of their new location located at 512 East 18th Street. The new taproom and brewery boasts a handmade 42 ft bar made from local lumber and indoor seating for up to 72 while retaining the coziness guests came to love at the original location. The new brewery space features a 7 barrel brewhouse, expanding production capacity.
Established in 1999, The Brick is a Crossroads Art District neighborhood bar and grill, serving lunch and dinner specials with Brickfast on Saturdays from 9am-2pm.
