S.C. Pannell winery was established in 2004 in McLaren Vale, South Australia. Although Steve Pannell has spent years seeking experience in some of the world’s benchmark wineries globally, his conviction and dedication to the ‘Vale is strong. He believes in the moderate Mediterranean climate that the region has, coupled with ancient geology, to have the potential to produce some of the world’s highest quality wines. With the tools and perspective he’s gained from working abroad, he is crowned the reference of somebody that “truly understands the relationship between the mediterranean varieties that are grown and the zeitgeist of suitable winemaking in this region”.
