In “The Divine Darkness” traditional printmaker Lauren Stevens invites us into spaces of wonder and hope, referencing images from prophetic books like Isaiah that imagine the restoration of order in a cursed world. Stevens seeks to balance personal devotion, worship, and lament in her highly intricate works, inviting us into a Spirit-filled, dreamlike world reminiscent of the Psalms.
We will be hosting an opening reception on Friday, June 5, from 5:30 – 9pm, with an artist talk at 6:30pm.
Our gallery will be closed for the Independence Day weekend. We will host a First Friday reception on Friday, August 7, from 5:30 – 9pm.
We will also be open every Saturday from 2 – 4pm, through June, July, and August, with the exception of July 4.
