Suburban Prairie Breakdown is a collection of new paintings by Rebecca Van Meter and Leigh Ford.

Rebecca is an Overland Park artist who studied art education at Kansas State in the late 90s. Since then she’s been busy being an awesome wife and mama, following Jesus, and continuing to develop her own unique artistic voice. Her works highlight the tension felt between opposing schools of thought, our own heightened emotions, and the mystery and beauty that we are left with.

Leigh is a Louisiana native and an Overland Park artist who is also an awesome wife and mother of two super-fun girls. Leigh using painting and drawing as a vehicle to communicate with the world around her and to process her thoughts, feelings, perceptions, reactions, hopes, disillusionments, dreams, anguish, and everything the comprises the human experience.
