Founded in 1985, Sherry Leedy Contemporary Art represents a diverse group of critically acclaimed artists working with a wide range of materials and ideas. The gallery presents new artwork by mid-career artists such as Jun Kaneko, Hung Liu, Roger Shimomura, Cary Esser, Jeff Aeling, and Barbara Rogers, as well as emerging talent. In addition, the gallery sustains vital relationships to Kansas City artists and those from the region. Regular gallery highlights include solo and thematic exhibitions offering an insightful selection of artwork in painting, photography, mixed media, ceramics and glass. The gallery maintains a large inventory of artwork and offers individualized art consulting services. Our clients include both the first-time art buyer and the experienced collector, as well as, corporate and museum collections throughout the United States.
