Peace Church UCC (United Church of Christ) is an open, progressive community of faith. Our worship is our front door. It’s the way folks come to know us, to know themselves, to know the grace of God who is the generous loving ground on which we stand each day.

Peace Church was founded in 2011 and is led by Rev. Holly McKissick and Rev. Paula Lafferty.

Peace Church is an Open and Affirming congregation. As Christians, we joyfully welcome into God’s house all people, celebrating our diversity in race, gender, age, sexual orientation, gender identities, gender expression, nationality, faith background, education, and abilities.

We worship at Peace Downtown (AIA Building, 1801 McGee St, KCMO) on Sundays at 10:30 am. We offer online Zoom worship of that service„ and now welcome members from across the country each Sunday online. Childcare is available, with “Pop-Up Peace” starting at 10:20. Gathering at 10:30 am each Sunday morning is something we look forward to all week long
