Le Cine Club — A Cinema & Dinner Experience

March 18, 2025 By events@cezannekc.art

Join us at Cézanne for an immersive screening of Breathless, the 1960 French New Wave classic directed by Jean-Luc Godard. This will be an intimate and curated experience — perfect for movie fanatics and those looking for a unique date night.

Your ticket includes a welcome snack and a 4‑course menu, thoughtfully designed by Romain Monnoyeur, executive chef of Westport Cafe, to transport you into the world of the film (no modifications). Inspired by the reckless romance and stylish rebellion of Breathless, the evening will unfold much like the story itself — a seductive dance between indulgence and intrigue. As you dine, you’ll follow the journey of a small-time crook on the run after a car theft and murder, desperately trying to convince a young American journalist to escape with him to Italy.

There will be two screenings: one at 6:00 PM and another at 8:45 PM. Wine pairings will be available for an additional cost at checkout. Secure your tickets now via the link in our bio or directly on our website: cezannekc.art.

Stardew Valley: Symphony of Seasons

March 12, 2025 By news@kauffmancenter.org

The massive hit farming sim Stardew Valley is returning to concert halls around the world on its second international concert tour. After the overwhelming response to Stardew Valley’s first concert tour, Festival of Seasons, which sold out in record time, the music of Stardew Valley: Symphony of Seasons will be presented in the Muriel Kauffman Theatre at the Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts on Nov. 2, 2025.

This brand-new concert features a 35-piece orchestra and will include all-new arrangements of music from the popular game. Accompanied by a screen above the stage featuring gameplay from Stardew Valley, fans can also expect to see original content created exclusively for the concert under the supervision of creator and composer ConcernedApe.

From Pelican Town to the Skull Cavern, Ginger Island to Calico Desert, and the Submarine to the Wizard’s Tower, concertgoers can look forward to hearing the game’s most popular songs as they watch their farm grow throughout the seasons. Once again, fans are encouraged to come dressed in their best Stardew Valley cosplay in celebration of the game, and new exclusive merchandise will also be available for purchase.
