CALEB BOWMAN

Caleb Lee Bowman is a Kansas City – based sculptor, fabricator, and designer whose work bridges art, architecture, and construction. Raised on a farm in northern Missouri, Bowman brings a hands-on, material-driven approach to sculpture and collaborative projects. He has worked with artists including Mark di Suvero and Eve Sussman, and founded Constructible, Inc., an artist-led design-build practice. Bowman holds a B.F.A. from the Kansas City Art Institute and has exhibited nationally in galleries and public spaces.

MARTIN CAIL

Martin Cail earned his BFA from the University of Central Missouri in 1995 and an MFA from the Ohio State University in 1997. With a background as an art preparator at esteemed institutions like the Kemper Museum of Contemporary Art and the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art, Martin’s artistic journey is deeply rooted in diverse experiences. Having taught at Ohio State, the Kansas City Art Institute, and JCCC, Martin is not only a practitioner but also a dedicated educator. His artistic evolution spans photography, painting, and sculpture, culminating in his latest focus on the interplay of light, color, and form. Beyond traditional art spaces, Martin has left a mark on public areas with exterior lighting projects, including Town Center Plaza and Town Center Crossing during the 2021 holiday season. Since 2001, his studio near Swope Park has been a creative haven, blending his passions for gardening, architecture, design, lighting, color, and form into a cohesive and celebratory body of work. In essence, Martin Cail’s art journey reflects a continuous exploration of diverse mediums, a commitment to education, and a unique fusion of his multifaceted interests into a captivating artistic expression.
