Growing Pains is a solo exhibition and installation centered around the home by Jaedyn Roberts that features painting, quilting, ceramics, items from the home, and more.

Growing Pains are a normal part of becoming someone new.

This work is in equal parts a celebration of human connection and a reflection on homesickness for things that won’t ever come back. It is an ode to an upbringing in the American heartland, a collection of intimate moments, and a declaration of love so deep it’s the closest thing you have to religion.

Through highlighting everyday moments and everyday things, this exhibition explores the complicated ways we define home.

Opening Reception: Friday, May 1, 6 – 9 PM
