The series “Fields”, painted by Thomas Woodward LaFavre in 2020 – 23, uses documentation from a wild flower garden at golden hour to pay homage to the power of remembered spaces. Perspective plays an important role in the works, turning the picture plane into a receding space that welcomes the viewer inside.
