Grace and Holy Trinity Cathedral at 13th & Broadway will be hosting a First Friday event June 2 from 5 – 9 p.m. We will have on display volumes of The Saint John’s Bible, offer tours of the Nave (stained glass windows and liturgical art), as well as secular visual art and music. Appetizers and wine will be available as well.
About The Saint John’s Bible — In 1998, Saint John’s Abbey and University commissioned renowned calligrapher Donald Jackson to produce a hand-written, hand-illuminated Bible. We invite you to explore this work of art that unites an ancient Benedictine tradition with the technology and vision of today, illuminating the Word of God for a new millennium.
