We are excited to announce our first exhibition of the year: Enter The Dragon! Enter The Dragon celebrates the Lunar New Year, the Year of the Dragon, and with a special kick. The 1973 Bruce Lee film by the same name was wildly influential and significant, ultimately leading to its preservation in the National Film Registry in 2004 — and now, over 50 years later, to the inspiration of this show! This exhibition is a playful honoring of traditions old and new, and the global cross-cultural world we all inhabit together, as dragons themselves have appeared throughout human history on every continent (okay, maybe not Antarctica) and in nearly every culture! Featuring local and national artists, the show will include work by Ami Ayars, Compost Pile, Femme9, Haley Lane, Merk Aveli, Penny Pinch, Registered Artist, Rif Raf Giraffe, & XMASVIPER. Please join us for the Opening Reception on February 2nd, from 5 – 10pm during the First Friday Art Walk in the Crossroads!
