Darryl Chamberlain is a self-taught Kansas City artist who creates artwork in the fashion of the masters of the Renaissance era. Chamberlain is classified as a realistic artist whose artworks is highly detailed and expressive. He is particularly inspired by the artists of the Renaissance, Baroque, and Classical eras.

Chamberlain possess an undergraduate degree from the UMKC School of Education in Secondary Education Social Sciences and an undergraduate degree in History from the UMKC School of Arts and Sciences. He received certification to teach in Missouri public schools from the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education. Chamberlain also holds a technical diploma in Microprocessor Technology from Electronics Institute of Kansas City and has been employed for 40 years in industrial technologies in semiconductor, railway, aerospace, power grid, chemical, military, and battery technologies. Chamberlain studied technical illustration and drafting from Grayson County Community College and Richland Community College in Sherman and Richardson Texas.

Chamberlain works in a variety of mediums in watercolor, pastel, charcoal, pen and ink, and sculpture. Chamberlain is the founder of the Gloryworks Experience which is a multi-media art presentation that uses art to tell important stories from American history. Chamberlain was awarded the 2014 Rocket Grant from the Charlotte Street Foundation from which he created the Artists for Life Project in tandem with 17 Kansas City artists. Darryl Chamberlain is one of the founding members of the Collin County BEST Robotics competition and served as the first chairman that organization. Darryl Chamberlain is also the founder and director of the A‑Flat Music Studio Inc. and the A‑Flat Youth Orchestra. Chamberlain has produced and directed numerous presentations for Black History Month using the platform of art and music.
