Get Yourself On Stage!
In this 8‑week class, students will learn how to live in the moment, and build together towards a common goal! Whether this is your first improv class, or you’re looking to shake off that pandemic rust, Foundations of Improv will teach the fundamentals that will be with your comedy every step of the way, whether you’re on stage or in the board room! Learn improv games seen on the bird stage as well as different exercise to develop all the tools you need to be your best self!
Classes take place Tuesdays from 7pm-9pm, May 2nd 2023 — June 20th 2023, with a class performance Thursday, June 22nd at 7:30pm. All at The Bird Comedy Theater in The Crossroads Arts District!
About the Teacher
West Everts is an inaugural member of The Bird Comedy Theater Players. They have been performing improvised comedy since 2017, with The Bird Comedy Theater, ComedyCity and The KC Improv Company. They have been a writer/performer with The Anarchy Fun Time Show, Truck Noises & The 4 Nathans. In their spare time, West enjoys teaching art to elementary students, and camping.
