Brioche Pastry Shop is owned and operated by husband and wife team Brandon & Ida Kelley.
Brandon is a graduate from the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY. He studied and obtained his associate’s degree in Baking and Pastry Arts. He traveled to Seattle, Washington perfecting his craft before returning home to central Missouri. There, he met his wife, Ida, working at a bakery in Columbia, Missouri.
They brought together their passion of artisan pastries and high quality coffee to open their first bakery in Jefferson City, Missouri. After 6 years in business, they relocated to the Crossroads Art District in Kansas City. The relocation allowed Ida (who is a KC native) to be closer to family as well as allowing them to operate in a larger market and focus even further on their passion of creating scratch made breakfast pastries.
Today, they are living their dream running Brioche Pastry Shop. We are a retail bakery creating artisan breakfast pastries (such as croissants, Danish, and our ever popular brioche cinnamon rolls) as well as providing a full coffee bar featuring Shortwave Coffee from Columbia, Missouri.

It is an enriched dough used to create a diverse array of sweet and savory buns and rolls. We laminate (combine layers of dough and butter) our brioche to create our unique cinnamon rolls and sticky buns!
